The main HTGAA source of information is the general course website. So information about lectures, in-person recitations (homework presentations and discussions), conditions to get a certificate etc. will not be duplicated here to avoid confusion.

News:

OBS just released a new Open source software great for students to simulate some biological processes and understand DNA. You can also understand how PCR work by adding concrete examples and check if it works or not. The software can be downloaded directly as a Windows executable from OpenBio. Go to the readme file and click the link to download OpenBio.exe

This node, like all the other course nodes will organize recitations, office-hours and when possible labs.

Content will be updated on a rolling basis, usually after each week’s lecture.

Please note that not all the in person labs will have a corresponding node lab, mainly due to the costs involved for the experiments. That is the case for all the nodes.

Please choose a final project as SOON as you can so we can discuss it during office hours. It takes time to put a project together and the course is not so long.

After you register as a Student at the **Global HTGAA 2025 Student Application Form.**
Using Notion create and submit your first homework
The TAs will check and if the requirement is met. We will let you know by email that you are a committed listener (CL) and you get a form where you can choose to join any node.
As a CL you will get access to Slack communication
